Lauren Howard, LCSW, is a Clinical Social Worker with a private psychotherapy practice in New York City. After
receiving her BA from Franklin & Marshall College, Ms. Howard
received her Master of Science degree from Columbia University. She is
Board certified and is licensed by the State of New York and a member of
the National Association of Social Workers. Ms. Howard gained
invaluable experience during two internships, the first at New York
Hospital and the second in the Pediatric & Adolescent Psychiatric
Clinic at Bellevue Hospital.

She has made numerous television appearances, both nationally and
locally, including CBS News, MSNBC, NBC News, ABC News, New York One,
Fox News, Channel 11 News and Good Day New York. Ms. Howard has served
as a featured guest and professional expert, discussing a variety of
issues including Jessica Lynch's ordeal, the Scott Peterson &
Michael Jackson trials, the stress of the war in Iraq and the September
11th anniversary. She has been quoted in The New York Times, The New
York Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Daily News and The New York Sun
along with other print publications including New York Magazine, Marie
Claire, Worth & Allure.

Ms. Howard has also served as a Life Coach for Ortho Women's Health speaking
to college age women about their physical and mental health concerns
and wrote three life stage guides for them called Pill-Lo Talk, a series of workbooks that help facilitate better communication. She appears regularly on In Session and CNN Headline News' Nancy Grace show to
discuss current court cases.

In addition to her private clinical practice and efforts to reach out
to the larger community through the media, Ms. Howard serves on the
Board of Directors of Love Heals, The Allison Gertz Foundation for AIDS Education & Stages of Learning. She completed a full tenure
on the Board of The Children's Village of Dobbs Ferry and was on the
Board of the WPA Theater until it's closing. She is also a member of
the Photography Committee for The Whitney Museum of American Art. Ms.
Howard has taught as an Adjunct Professor at the Metropolitan College
of New York and is a member of AFTRA, SAG, Equity and The Dramatists
Guild.
